Young Scientist Award in the Field of Narcolepsy

The European Narcolepsy Network (EU-NN) aims to facilitate clinical and scientific progress in the field of narcolepsy and other hypersomnias of central origin.

In 2009 the First European Narcolepsy Day was initiated by the EU-NN. For the 3rd European Narcolepsy Day to be held in Bologna on March 17th 2012, the EU-NN has created a “Young Scientist Award”. If you are under 35 years of age, are MD or PhD and have published an article on narcolepsy or hypersomnias of central origin within this or the last year you are invited to apply for this award.

The award is 1000 € and includes an invitation to the 3rd Narcolepsy Day in Bologna including a presentation of the scientific work (accommodation and travel expenses included).

The application deadline is 1 February 2012.
