- Applications of individuals must be made in writing to the secretary of the society and supported by one full member of the society. The name of the applicant shall be made public through publication in the ESRS newsletter. The members shall have the opportunity to object to admission within two months. After the expiration of this period, the applicants will become members unless objections have been raised, in which case the board of officers shall decide on admission or non-admission.
- Application must include a letter from the head of the department certifying that the candidate is in training (undergraduate, graduate or doctoral student, post-doc or resident), and a transcript of matriculation at the university. These items should be enclosed with the application form. If you applied online the certification must be sent to the ESRS Office must be sent to the ESRS Office (Mrs Maria Wiechmann, Andreasstr. 4, 93059 Regensburg, Germany, Fax: +49 941 29080975, e-mail: maria.wiechmann@esrs.eu). Both documents need to be submitted every year with the renewal of each application.
- Yearly fee: €30, to be made to the ESRS treasurer (see application form)
- Fees for the coming year shall be paid prior to December 1st of the current year. The members who join after October 30th shall be exempt from payment of the membership fee for the current year. Members who still have not paid their fees after a reminder letter from the treasurer is sent out shall be suspended until payment.
